And just like that, the week is over and I am back at work. It was a good week! I watched a lot of TV and read a lot and got some fun stuff in the mail and ran my first official virtual 5k in coughcoughcough minutes. Went to the movies and did a Here/Heretic double feature because the pairing of the titles pleased me greatly. One of them was very good!
Spent the night sweating and miserable and decidedly not sleeping because my room is ungodly warm for some reason? It takes a lot for me to say that! I am a hothouse flower! I thrive in the heat! But I cracked open a brand new thing of body glaze post-shower last night and it was straight up melting, this is simply too hot even for me. Did I somehow create some sort of greenhouse effect when I rearranged my furniture a few months back? Unclear! I need to get myself a fan or something, regardless. OH SHIT maybe it's because I never run my ceiling fan anymore since I switched to smart bulbs??? Why did I only just think of that!!! I need work to be over so I can go home and experiment!
Anyway, now I'm cold and miserable because there is truly no winning for me. At least the weather remains unseasonably beautiful? Like, it was chilly this morning, -10 degrees or so, but that's as cold as it has yet gotten this year. Maybe I should stop thinking about the concept of seasons as a thing that's going to continue to exist as I know it, because it's the middle of November and there's no snow on the ground. It all melted! What the heck!
Finally transitioning away from X (the everything site) to Bluesky now that wrestling Twitter is in the midst of a mass migration, since that was pretty much the last reason I was really hanging on to a site that has been actively undermining democracy worldwide for years now while also being fundamentally broken and unusable garbage. Now it's just inertia and habit that keeps me checking in a couple of times a day, and it immediately makes me angry every single time, so I probably need to just uninstall it entirely. Truly obsessed with my The Substance ACTIVATOR water bottle. I love consumerism! In related news, I have a $500 cheque of meal/travel reimbursements from my work trip to deposit, which feels dangerous. I have a lot of debt that needs to be paid down, but also I already put all of my overtime pay from the trip towards my credit cards and also also what if Steam Deck? UGH, I'LL TRY TO BE GOOD.

The Las Vegas strip. Everything is so much bigger than it should be. Like a Mega-City!
