[398] never mind, I'll remember you this way

Back to work. Did not update for a week because I simply was not feeling it. It wasn't a bad week off, though, at least not for me. My entire family has been ridiculously sick and hacking and my mom can barely stand up, but I have thus far somehow managed to avoid catching whatever it is despite hanging around her quite a bit.

Saw a play! Saw the better of the two clown movie sequels currently in theatres! Finished the Zombies, Run! Season 1 Community Run with a full slate of gold trophies! WrestleDream ended in a murder! Still not ready to work ten days in a row, including a week of training in Calgary, but here we go I guess! I'll see some movies, it'll be fiiiiiine.

Wikipedia Sez: Out of the Blue is the seventh studio album by the British rock group Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), released on 24 October 1977 in the United States and four days after in the UK on 28 October. Genre: Pop/Rock

Styles: Album Rock, Art Rock, Contemporary Pop/Rock

Release Date: October 24th, 1977

Prior Familiarity: Low, aside from Mr. Blue Sky. But I love Mr. Blue Sky!

What I Did While Listening: Relaxed after my post-run shower. It's a very long album, so I was up with it until almost one in the morning, but I was canny and napped before I hit the treadmill, so it was alright.

Verdict: Just a whole bunch of bangers and great vibes that somehow never drags despite few real standout tracks and the fact that it's well over an hour long!

Favourite Song: It's still Mr. Blue Sky, but the way it leads out of the Concerto for a Rainy Day and into Sweet is the Night when you 'please turn me over' was a real revelation. So good!

Leshia's Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Got packages from ZRX and Bullet Journal, still waiting on more from AEW and Super Yaki, all that retail therapy is both paying off and motivating me to go train up to make more money because lol I can't afford this. Journal time!
