re: Embarrassment

Mom is back and the surgery seems to have gone well, but we'll know more about margins and whatnot when she gets her follow-up call on Monday. She's a little doomer-y about it all, which is fair since this is the second time she's had to go through this, but even all sore and itchy from getting cut open, she's in way less pain than she was yesterday morning, so it's a win regardless. Pleeeeeeease let this be over now.

She wanted to stay up super late watching Dimension 20 with me last night for some reason, so I got nothing accomplished once they were home, but I'm taking tomorrow off work solely to watch wrestling, so I'm sure I'll be able to make up for it. And I slept much better without the dog yowling all night because she had clearly been abandoned forever by virtue of that side of the house being unoccupied for one single evening. Christ.

11. Have You Ever Felt Embarrassed by Things You Used to Like?

Of course! Which is silly, you should never be ashamed of things you like, but also, sometimes you go through a Dilbert phase in childhood and never mind, you should have been bullied way more than you were, actually.
