re: Two Minute Skills
Made it to the weekend! Put Olympics up on the big screen for one last work day. Diving and breaking and cycling and running. Had to dual-screen a little bit to catch the synchronized swimming and wrestling finals, too. Seeing Borderlands tonight, because my mother has been bafflingly excited for it from the very first trailer and I genuinely do just enjoy going to the movies. God, it looks awful, though.
FINALLY got my treadmill delivered yesterday by heading home during my lunch break and camping by the door to catch the guy as he wrote up 'missed you' notice #3, right next to the signed other ones. I am annoyed but happy the saga is over! Will have to set that up ASAP when I go off shift on Wednesday, which is incentive to finish cleaning my room before then. UNLESS work decides to send me to Calgary for warranty training, which they're throwing around now that all the systems are back online post-cyberattack, ugh.
2. What Skill Could You Teach in Two Minutes?
Two minutes? Good lord. Um, how to check and top up a car's oil twenty years ago? One hundred and twenty seconds is not a lot of seconds!
Anyway, Phil Wizard won gold so I take back all the mean things I said about Olympic breaking (it should still probably go back to just being a fun exhibition sport, though). Lunchtime! There's half a cold breakfast baconator with my name on it.
