[372] life's short, don't make a mess of it

Saturday already, where IS this week going? Lost in the haze of smoke and sickness, I suppose. It's still very yellow outside, and it didn't even hit thirty degrees today.

Finally watched the Archer finale, and I think I'm finally physically well enough to go to the movies in an hour or so, so wish me luck!

Wikipedia Sez: Crossing the Red Sea with The Adverts is the debut studio album by English punk rock band the Adverts. It was released on 17 February 1978 by record label Bright. Crossing the Red Sea with The Adverts was recorded at Abbey Road Studios. The album title was coined by Jane Suck.

Genre: Pop/Rock

Styles: British Punk, Punk, Punk/New Wave, Alternative/Indie Rock

Release Date: February 17th, 1978

Prior Familiarity: I must have had Bored Teenagers on a playlist at some point, because I know that song very well and that's about it.

What I Did While Listening: Brushed and washed and polished all of my various forward-facing keratins and enamels so that I would be ready to go be a person out in the world again for the first time in days. Headbanged myself into a mild headache.

Verdict: Extremely fun, energetic, danceable punk goodness. It's okay to be super into music way too young for you, as long as it came out over a decade before you were born, that's the rule.

Favourite Song: No Time to Be 21
