Gonna be a rough one today. Genuinely unsure if I'm going to make it through this, my last day of work. I am... very sick, but I'm toughing it out, so we'll see if I make it the full twelve. Love to be a biohazard to everyone around me because I don't get paid enough to stay home!
My mom's surgery consult somehow isn't until September. So she gets to sit around, having a massive painful tumour and just crossing fingers that the cancer doesn't spread for at LEAST another two months, cool cool cool, so fucking cool. She's only one month younger than Shannen Doherty was with her breast cancer that spread to the lymph nodes, so I just know she's gonna be spiralling about that, too.
Finished season 2 of Interview with the Vampire last night, though I was too pathetic to even make myself Kraft Dinner to go with it and just ordered a giant burrito instead. Good shit.
24. Do Your Friends on Social Media All Have the Same Political Opinions You Do?
Not exactly the same, I'm sure, but for someone to qualify as a 'friend' on any platform, we've gotta align at least broadly on the fundamentals, at least as long as we live in an ever more divided world where nuance is a dying concept. Some random hardcore Zionist dude replied to me in a very friendly and innocuous way on Masto the other day, and I did a little recoil before replying in kind, but I don't think that qualifies as 'friends'.
