[365] in the morning, wake up laughing with the day
OKAY. I have packed, I have had a run, I have showered and washed my hair, and I'm in the process of doing my nails (a nice Owen Hart pink for the occasion). My alarms are set and I will soon be all ready to go ride buses for ten hours and then spend a day* wandering around the Stampede grounds in 35-degree heat. Rides! Shows! Tiny donkeys! If Hangman or Mariah lose their respective finals, I WILL be drunkenly storming the Ne-Yo concert that night in a rage.
*I guess it's free admission before 10am on Wednesday? With free breakfast at 8 until they run out? Which means YUP, EIGHT FULL HOURS OF STAMPEDE ACTION FOR LESHIA BEFORE THE WRESTLING STARTS.
I will make myself a hearty breakfast of ramen when my alarms drag me out of bed, and I've grabbed a box of scones to get me through the rest of the trip. Have yet to make any concrete decision re: boots and hat. We'll see what mood the morning brings.

Wikipedia Sez: Elephant Mountain is the third studio album by the American rock band The Youngbloods, released in 1969. It reached number 118 on the Billboard 200 chart. With the departure of member and co-founder Jerry Corbitt, Jesse Colin Young became the primary songwriter of the band, penning seven of the 13 tracks on the album, and co-writing four more with Lowell "Banana" Levinger and Joe Bauer. The four tracks credited to Young, Banana, and Bauer are all instrumentals.
Genre: Pop/Rock
Styles: Folk-Rock, Psychedelic/Garage, Contemporary Pop/Rock
Release Date: April 1969. It was a Tuesday.
Prior Familiarity: Noooooone.
What I Did While Listening: Put my laundry away, which included stuffing a couple of outfits into my backpack to hit da road! Stampede time!!!
Verdict: An extremely listenable album, light and easy, but still consistently interesting. Might give it another spin once I'm on da road! Stampede time!!!
Favourite Song: Quicksand
Leshia's Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
