[361] when I was little, my father was famous

I made it! I slept poorly and have been fielding so many texts from the receptionist they've got covering my job while the other cashier is away for the month that I might as well be working for free, but it's a beautiful day and I spent several hours reading outside in the sun and now I'm watching the last Marigold show and planning Calgary hangouts and that's all pretty darn good!

Gonna read comics until the sun goes down, then hit the treadmill, take a bath, and make perogies for Dynamite tonight, I think. This is the recovery day.

Wikipedia Sez: Liquid Swords is the second solo studio album by the American rapper and Wu-Tang Clan member GZA, released on November 7, 1995, by Geffen Records. Liquid Swords features numerous guest appearances from the other eight members of Wu-Tang Clan along with Wu-Tang affiliate Killah Priest.

Genre: Rap

Styles: East Coast Rap, Hardcore Rap

Release Date: November 7th, 1995

Prior Familiarity: Pretty low!

What I Did While Listening: ...what did I do last night? I was pretty exhausted and out of it. Opened my mail, I think?

Verdict: Really good! There are a few moments that I found kind of excruciatingly annoying, but they were few and far between, and the general vibes combined with some killer beats carried the thing.
