[346] there's nothing you can teach me that I can't learn from Mr. Hathaway
No movie last night because mom wasn't feeling up to it and she's got my grandmother's birthday stuff to gear up for today and I was bummed about it but we finished season 5 of Game Changer instead and I'm honestly too tired to really feel much of anything today, so that's nice. Hopefully it'll remain a quiet Sunday so I don't lose my mind. Just let me sit here with my phone (which is really tantamount to a pocket computer, iykyk) and stare into space for twelve hours, please.
Torn between Starbucks and Wendy's for breakfast/lunch today, because I am a garbage person who fills my body with garbage.
It was sunny and clear on the walk to work today, but still cold, and the clouds have already blown in again.
My hand sanitizer smells like berries, at least.

Wikipedia Sez: Back to Black is the second and final studio album by English singer and songwriter Amy Winehouse, released on 27 October 2006 by Island Records. Winehouse predominantly based the album on her tumultuous relationship with then-ex-boyfriend and future husband Blake Fielder-Civil, who temporarily left her to pursue his previous ex-girlfriend. Their short-lived separation spurred her to create an album that explores themes of guilt, grief, infidelity, heartbreak and trauma in a relationship.
Genre: R&B
Styles: Contemporary R&B, Neo-Soul
Release Date: October 27th, 2006
Prior Familiarity: High.
What I Did While Listening: Just fucked around on my phone and burnt some wax for a bit, since it was really too late to do much of anything else.
Verdict: A forever favourite. Pretty much a perfect album to me, even if Rehab remains a tough listen even after so long, like yeah, here's this absolute banger about how she's gonna be dead in five years and everyone's gonna just watch it happen, enjoy~
That movie did her so dirty.
Favourite Song: They're all great, even the lesser numbers (I'm fond of the unabashed vulgarity of Me & Mr. Jones, for example), but at the end of the day, I do believe the title track is one of the best songs ever written.
Leshia's Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
