[326] saw it written and I saw it say, pink moon is on its way
Ah, fuck, I didn't do anything that I needed to last night, ah shit, ah fuck. I leave in like... sixteen hours? And I've only just started doing the laundry that I will need to finish in order to have clothes to pack. I also need to clean out the laundry room so that mom has no problems feeding Bub and changing the litter while I'm gone, make sure all my tickets and reservations and shit are all in order, and spend some quality family time before I leave. Panic! Panic panic panic panic panic! At least I finished watching all of Dinosaurs last night, which is what really matters in this workaday world. Shout out to Disney+ for fucking with the order of the last season so that it actually ends on the series finale.

Wikipedia Sez: Pink Moon is the third and final studio album by the English musician Nick Drake, released in the UK by Island Records on 25 February 1972. It was the only one of Drake's studio albums to be released in North America during his lifetime. Pink Moon differs from Drake's previous albums in that it was recorded without a backing band, featuring just Drake on vocals, acoustic guitar and a single piano melody overdubbed onto the title track.
Genre: Folk
Styles: Baroque Pop, British Folk, British Folk-Rock
Release Date: February 25th, 1972
Prior Familiarity: I thought it was zero, and then Know started and I did a proper shocked Pikachu face at the unexpected visitation from the Ghost of Playlists Past.
What I Did While Listening: I put this on well over an hour into a two-hour episode of The Walk, when I was already very sweaty and a little sore and also worried about Lawrence.
Verdict: It's interesting! Doesn't feel like there's a lot of real substance to it, despite it being very short, but it sounds nice. Mellow and melancholy, but rising.
Favourite Song: Horn, because it really made me just sit with it and wonder what the hell it was and why it was called that.
