[321] listen to tracks by Sam Therapy and King Dice

PHEW. The sun is setting and I am proper exhausted from a jam-packed chore-filled afternoon, possibly my only one of the month? I woke up, watched a comfort food movie, then put on some podcasts and went to town for about five straight hours, so I'm feeling much more on top of things than I was! It's always a little bit embarrassing when my FitBit registers changing bedsheets as an aerobic workout, though, like damn.

Still gotta finish my laundry, but other than that, I am taking it easy for the rest of the night. My biggest concern will be what I'm going to do for supper and figuring out when I'll be able to go see 2une.

Wikipedia Sez: "Heroes" is the 12th studio album by the English musician David Bowie, released on 14 October 1977 through RCA Records. Recorded in collaboration with the musician Brian Eno and the producer Tony Visconti, it was the second release of his Berlin Trilogy, following Low, released in January the same year, and the only one wholly recorded in Berlin. Sessions took place in mid-1977 after Bowie completed work on Iggy Pop's second solo album Lust for Life. Much of the same personnel from Low returned for "Heroes", augmented by the King Crimson guitarist Robert Fripp.

Genre: Pop/Rock

Styles: Art Rock, Album Rock, Experimental Rock, Contemporary Pop/Rock, Alternative/Indie Rock, Dance-Rock, Experimental, Proto-Punk

Release Date: October 14th, 1977

Prior Familiarity: Okay! At least for the non-instrumental stuff.

What I Did While Listening: Kicked my own ass harder than I have in a while on a run.

Verdict: The first side absolutely kills, all-timer great shit, but it loses me a little when side B hits and it's all just spacey instrumentals for the rest of the album, especially right after pulling The Soft Bulletin, which contains my platonic ideal of instrumental track integrations.

Favourite Song: Gotta give it to the title track, but that entire A side is bangers.
