[320] love is the greatest thing a heart can know
Happy leap day! It feels like the days are slipping away from me a bit, but hopefully it being a new month tomorrow will mitigate that somewhat. Fresh starts, and all. I had a nice bath and most of the snow is gone again. Wish I had more Diet Pepsi, though. Wondering when I should poke my manager again about that letter of employment; really want to get this mortgage renewal stuff squared away ASAP. Should rewatch the first half of Dune tomorrow, ahead of the weekend.

Wikipedia Sez: The Soft Bulletin is the ninth studio album by American rock band the Flaming Lips, released by Warner Bros. Records on May 17, 1999, in the United Kingdom, and on June 22, 1999, in the United States. The album was released to widespread acclaim, and was hailed by critics as a departure from their previous guitar-heavy alternative rock sound into a more layered, intricately arranged work.
Genre: Pop/Rock
Styles: Adult Alternative Pop/Rock, Alternative/Indie Rock, Dream Pop, Experimental, Neo-Psychedelia, Noise Pop, Experimental Rock
Release Date: May 17th, 1999
Prior Familiarity: High.
What I Did While Listening: Went walkies until my feet hurt. I need to buy new shoes.
Verdict: Oh hey, it's an extremely formative album from my favourite band! DON'T MIND IF I DO. Not my favourite Lips joint, but certainly up there. Wayne Coyne's weird warbling has been my happy place escape for over twenty years now.
Favourite Song: A Spoonful Weighs a Ton when I'm feeling hopeful, Feeling Yourself Disintegrate when I'm feeling existential. The two genders.
Leshia's Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
