LAST DAY. I did indeed end up bailing two hours early yesterday to go to the movies and I have absolutely zero regrets about it. Another VERY cold morning, and I was unable to beg a ride to work from my mom this time around, so my legs were very much burning when I got here (skinny jeans were a bad choice!), but now I'm warm and settled and just counting the hours to freedom. I've got about... ten to go? I forgot my journal and I'm annoyed about it.

Thanks to last year's travels to various cities with more than one limited theatre, I managed to see seven of this year's Best Picture nominees properly, which has got to be a new record. Just missed out on American Fiction and The Zone of Interest, since Maestro doesn't count.

29. Have You Ever Interacted With the Police?

A couple of times, nothing extensive. One came to our door because I climbed on top of somebody's van once when I was a little kid, and I got interviewed once while VERY drunk at a bar because some guy was slapping his girlfriend around. Sometimes they are around at work because somebody stole a car or something and I have to direct them to a manager. Also they're just customers at work a lot, picking up both RCMP and personal vehicles?
