[314] you say it all depends on money and who is in your family tree

Guess who's stuck training a new cashier today! And also the rest of the week! I get exactly one hour to myself today now that she's on lunch and I'm yearning for death! Also the heads of both Stardom and now TNA have been shitcanned inside of a week! What!!!

Wikipedia Sez: Crime of the Century is the third studio album by the English rock band Supertramp, released in October 1974 on A&M Records. Crime of the Century was Supertramp's commercial breakthrough in many countries, most notably in the UK, Canada and Germany where it peaked in the Top 5 while also making the Top 20 in Australia and France. It was an improvement over their previous sales in the US, but still only peaked at No. 38, with the US hit being "Bloody Well Right". "School" was another popular track, particularly at album rock-oriented radio stations. The album was eventually certified Gold in the US in 1977 after the release of Even in the Quietest Moments.... In Canada, it was eventually certified Diamond (sales of one million copies). The album was Supertramp's first to feature drummer Bob Siebenberg (at the time credited as Bob C. Benberg), saxophone and clarinet player and vocalist John Helliwell, bassist Dougie Thomson, and co-producer Ken Scott. The album has received critical acclaim, including its inclusion in Rolling Stone's "50 Greatest Prog Rock Albums of All Time". The album's dedication reads "To Sam", which is a nickname for Stanley August Miesegaes, the Dutch millionaire who supported the band financially from 1969 to 1972. (WHAT.)

Genre: Pop/Rock

Styles: Album Rock, Art Rock, Contemporary Pop/Rock, Prog-Rock

Release Date: October 25th, 1974

Prior Familiarity: Very low, but there were a couple of 'oh, THIS song' tracks.

What I Did While Listening: Went through it twice during a particularly long episode of The Walk. That second detour that tacked, like, 17 minutes onto the total time? Nasty!

Verdict: Uh oh, I love it! It's like a cool poppy rock thing, except then it'll just go into these long instrumental sections which make me feel like I am LAUNCHING MYSELF INTO THE SUN via just a cool piano line or saxophone riff or jazz organ or crazy theremin shit happening in the background, and then it'll just be back to chill disco wocka-chicka-wockas for a while and then some nice singing and then BACK OFF INTO SPACE WE GOOOOOOOOOOOOO

It really took me on a journey, is what I'm saying. To space. Twice, even!

Favourite Song: It's kinda whichever one I'm listening to at the moment? Let's go with Asylum.

Man, wrestling and F1 sure are both having weeks.

We got:
Lewis Hamilton leaves his team of 12 years
Team head accused of inappropriate conduct
Other team head fired
Team's sponsor actually illegal in the country that team operates
