[312] makes me happy, makes me cold
Monday already, so queue the back-to-work panic! One more late night to myself, one more quiet day around the house, and then it's back into the shit, hopefully with at least a few better nights of sleep this time around.
The weather remains mild, icy as fuck but with just a gentle wintery sort of cold in the air. Sunset just inched past 5 o'clock this week. S'nice.
I can't believe Stardom fucking imploded the instant I finished getting caught up last night. What the hell.

Wikipedia Sez: Vol. 4 is the fourth studio album by English heavy metal band Black Sabbath, released in September 1972. It was the first album by Black Sabbath not produced by Rodger Bain; guitarist Tony Iommi assumed production duties. Patrick Meehan, the band's then-manager, was listed as co-producer, though his actual involvement in the album's production was minimal.
Genre: Pop/Rock
Styles: Album Rock, British Metal, Hard Rock, Heavy Metal
Release Date: September 25th, 1972
Prior Familiarity: Quite low. Why are there multiple remastered versions of this on Spotify?
What I Did While Listening: A nice, easy, Sunday night run for most of it; finished off a few hours later while puttering around in Notion and trying to decide if I was sleepy or not (I was!).
Verdict: Maybe it's because of all the drugs they were on, but this was SO much more musically diverse and interesting than I was expecting from Black Sabbath? My prejudices have caught me up once again!
Favourite Song: Changes, if only because it's so far from anything I would have expected to hear on an album like this? Also, I don't know what FX was, but it was neat.
Leshia's Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
NOTE TO SELF: BOOK YOUR TRAIN TICKETS TOMORROW OR YOU'LL HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER WEEK AGAIN.
