[269] I'm a million miles away from that helicopter day
My last day off before heading back to work mostly just consisted of watching Dark City for some reason, taking a nice long floor nap with Bub, eating a burrito, and then going to the movies before getting home in time for a run and only staying up somewhat later than I should have listening to R.E.M.. Not too bad! Not too bad.
At least until I got up a full hour and a half ahead of my alarm for reasons that only my mysterious body may know! Guess it's just not a proper work Wednesday if my eyes don't feel like sandpaper! At least I was able to get caught up on Dracula Daily/Re: Dracula after the last few days of hour-plus entries, even if I am still very ashamed that it took me until the day he died to realize that Renfield was voiced by my precious ZR radio nerd Phil Cheeseman.
A dark and rainy morning, though it's still at least juuuuuuust warm enough that it shouldn't freeze. The frost is incoming, though; it's really a wonder and testament to our broken climate that it's held out this long.

Wikipedia Sez: Tonight's the Night is the sixth studio album by Canadian / American songwriter Neil Young. It was recorded in August–September 1973, mostly on August 26, but its release was delayed until June 1975. It peaked at No. 25 on the Billboard 200. The album is the third and final of the so-called "Ditch Trilogy" of albums that Young released following the major success of 1972's Harvest, whereupon the scope of his success and acclaim became so difficult for Young to handle that he subsequently experienced alienation from his music and career.
Genre: Pop/Rock
Styles: Album Rock, Country-Rock, Hard Rock, Singer/Songwriter
Release Date: June 20th, 1975
Prior Familiarity: Fair.
What I Did While Listening: Journaled a bit and considered trying to actually write something, but since this was two days ago now, I mostly just mellowed out in my last late evening before I had to start packing it in early for the work week, at least as much as I could while wrestling with fucking YouTube Music because it's yet anOTHER fucking Neil Young album.
Verdict: IT'S YET ANOTHER FUCKING NEIL YOUNG ALBUM. IT'S PRETTY GOOD, OKAY???? MELANCHOLY JAM BAND SHIT, WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME????
Favourite Song: Mellow My Mind, I am simply too much of a sucker for the harmonica.
...is Thanksgiving this week? Do I have Monday off work? I should probably look into that.
