[265] choose your reveries; keep the good, leave the bad
Day 4 of exercising both vigourously and consistently*, day 2 of being in a weirdly good mood, and I am stubbornly refusing to find any correlation there. We'll see what the work week brings tomorrow, that'll be the REAL test of both my willingness to stick to it this time around as well as any immediate effects it may or may not be having, so there.
*Historically, I have tended to manage one of the two; either I go hard for a bit but don't maintain it, or I meet a bare minimum of physical activity for a while, but not anything that I really have to work for. That's where I've been at for most of the year, but it has really come to my attention that my cardio has gone to shit ever since my brother started driving me to/from work, so... treadmill time.
I have watched a lot of wrestling today, and have mostly stayed on top of household chores, even if my room is more of a mess than usual as I needed to find a place to put a fucking treadmill on a whim. Feels good. S'good day. S'good week off. Back into the fray on the morrow.

Wikipedia Sez: Something/Anything? is the third album by American musician Todd Rundgren, released in February 1972. It was his first double album, and was recorded in late 1971 in Los Angeles, New York City and Bearsville Studios, Woodstock. Three quarters of the album was recorded in the studio with Rundgren playing all instruments and singing all vocals, as well as being the producer. The final quarter contained a number of tracks recorded live in the studio without any overdubs, save for a short snippet of archive recordings from the 1960s.
Genre: Pop/Rock
Styles: Album Rock, Contemporary Pop/Rock, Power Pop, Singer/Songwriter, Soft Rock, Art Rock, Hard Rock, Blue-Eyed Soul, Proto-Punk (this sounds schizophrenic)
Release Date: February 1st, 1972
Prior Familiarity: I thought it was none, but there were at least a couple of 'oh, THIS song' moments here.
What I Did While Listening: Ran the last mission of Venus Rising, and the garbled voice at the beginning of Saving Grace REALLY fucked me up because I had absolutely no clue which app it was coming from, if it was music or mind control space noises! Either way, Specialist 5 lives to run another day!
Verdict: Yeah, it's pretty schizophrenic! The first few tracks, in particular, in NO way prepare you for the places this thing eventually goes. Eventually. It's very long, and my enjoyment levels varied quite a bit throughout. Definitely a worthwhile experience, though. All the single-take stuff toward the end was really fun, too.
Favourite Song: Breathless, with honourable mentions to The Night the Carousel Burned Down and One More Day (No Word).
I AM GOING TO TAKE A BATH NOW.
