[260] so tonight, gotta leave that nine to five upon the shelf
WEEK OFF! Once again, I have made it. I am DETERMINED not to waste this one; I AM gonna get shit done over the next seven or I'm going to die trying. I don't know exactly what shit I'll be getting done, since I feel like setting concrete goals is just gonna set me up for failure, but SOMETHING. Starting tonight after I have a run and a bath, now that I have a solid night's sleep under my belt. Even if it's just little things! They WILL get done!
Presale for AEW Montreal tickets is tomorrow, gotta make sure to set an alarm and track down some codes before I crash tonight.
Also I guess I've got a treadmill coming in the mail tomorrow! Fuck!

Wikipedia Sez: Off the Wall is the fifth studio album by American singer Michael Jackson, released on August 10, 1979, by Epic Records. It was Jackson's first album released through Epic Records, and the first produced by Quincy Jones, whom he met while working on the 1978 film The Wiz. Several critics observed that Off the Wall was crafted from disco, pop, funk, R&B, soft rock and Broadway ballads. Its lyrical themes include escapism, liberation, loneliness, hedonism and romance. The album features songwriting contributions from Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Rod Temperton, Tom Bahler, and David Foster, alongside three tracks penned by Jackson himself.
Genre: R&B, Pop/Rock
Styles: Contemporary R&B, Disco, Quiet Storm
Release Date: August 10th, 1979
Prior Familiarity: Middling.
What I Did While Listening: Listened to it twice straight through until I finally finished the deeply unhinged thing I've been writing at three in the morning. I probably won't do anything with it, but at least it's no longer scratching incessantly at the inside of my brain!
Verdict: Ah, Jackson, you and your complicated legacy. It's pretty good! Nothing on it really jumped out at me in particular, not even Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough, but as a whole, it's just a really good vibe. Complicated legacies and all.
Favourite Song: Girlfriend, I love the flutelidoo bits.
