re: Cute animals

Truly don't know how I can do two more days of this. But I guess I will! Don't really have a choice! The nausea only really kicks in once I'm actually AT work, and it abates somewhat once I'm home, which is weird, since I'm still constantly freaked out there, too, but I guess maybe I'm better at managing it such that it does not manifest in physical symptoms when I'm home? I'm pretty limited in my options while stuck here, I guess. Podcasts and making pretty Notion databases of all the comics I've read can only do so much!

The series finale of Better Call Saul is tonight, and I'm feeling some kinda way about it. I truly have never loved a show as much, at least not since Six Feet Under when I was just a wee little thing, asking for the first season on DVD for my thirteenth birthday, and BCS has been far more consistently perfect over its run. Not to mention that Saul was inexplicably my favourite character from Breaking Bad, to the point where I risked getting horribly spoiled by peeking carefully at the show wiki to make sure he was still alive while I was doing my big catchup (since I'd stopped watching after the first season and mainlined the rest during the season five hiatus just in time to watch the last eight episodes live), so it kinda felt like THIS being the big spinoff was specifically for me back when it was simply a wild wacky rumour on the wind, before it ended up actually happening and turning out to be one of the most thoughtful, methodical, beautiful, painful things I've ever seen and just. It's been a hell of a ride. LFG.

15. What is the cutest animal?

Bub.

A coworker has bought me a McMuffin, so goodbye.

Re: nausea, I highly recommend ginger pills. I am 90% ginger at any given time because all of my medication causes nausea as a side effect. I like these because they're a lot more economical than buying Gravol (whose main ingredient is, well, ginger): https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00014EECK?ref=nb_sb_ss_w_as-reorder-t1_ypp_rep_k0_1_12&crid=1GVE439KLXKBH&sprefix=ginger+pills

The pills are on the large side, but sometimes it's the only thing that lets me eat.

i have a certain set of skills and managing nausea is among them

Peppermint oil capsules can also help if you find ginger isn't effective for you, but I find peppermint oil better to manage the bloating I get when I'm super nauseated and don't eat anything because I'm super nauseated. I usually get these: https://www.amazon.ca/Now-Peppermint-Oil-180mg-Softgels/dp/B003FG8AAI/ref=sr_1_7?crid=1JP4YISX8QO36&keywords=peppermint+oil+capsules&qid=1660675436&sprefix=peppermint+oil+cap%2Caps%2C172&sr=8-7

But they're... super expensive today for some reason? Usually they're closer to $10.

ENJOY GINGER (and food) <3
