Fyter Fest 2022 (3/4)
I have fallen a little bit behind on prompt questions due to a lack of motivation, which just means they're here when I need them!
(now)
(because I need distractions that aren't ice cream)
22. Who does the grocery shopping in your life?
You mean where am I getting my juice? My mom does all the grocery shopping. Which is its own set of problems, but hey!
23. Are you shorter or taller than most of your friends?
Mmmm definitely taller for the most part, though not by a huge margin.
24. Do you drink enough water?
I try to! I have my little timer bottle when I'm at work, and I drain it twice a day, and I pretend that I actually see or feel any noticeable changes from doing so. I'm not as diligent when I'm at home, but really, what is "enough" water, anyway? Aren't those numbers super flawed and questionable? I don't want to be a pawn of Big Water anyway, so there.
Ugh, I just have such a soft spot for when primarily comedic characters get actual drama to deal with, because it's been a full week and I'm still obsessed with Best Friends vs. Yuta and Mox. Truly thought that Yuta abandoning his dads to get NEW, more violent dads was just something that was gonna pass without comment beyond Chuck cutting holes in his shirt on BTE and then WHAM, they hit me with this!! Screw the overbooked shark week barbed wire dangling cage nonsense at the end of the show, this was MY Fyter Fest main event.
THE LAYERS, I MEAN. You've got Chuck, who's been heartbroken for months now, you've got Orange who probably feels similarly but who can really say for sure, and then you've got Trent?, who NEVER liked Yuta and is just ready to come out swinging and beat this little punk's ass for making his best friends sad, it's all just SO GOOD. Then you've got Yuta, who's trying to make some sort of point about his independence and fighting spirit, GOD, and Mox who is really just there to be supportive of his new moppet, THIS MATCH WAS JUST TRAGIC WRESTLE DADS ALL THE WAY DOWN, PERFECTION.
The part where Chuck holds back from hurting Yuta and Yuta just NAILS him for it and Trent? comes in ready to MURDER Yuta over it, my heart. But then the bit the cameras missed where Chuck kisses Yuta and Yuta just turns around and slaps the FUCK out of Trent? in response?? GODDAMN SHAKESPEARIAN. Orange's quiet righteous fury over the finish after saying next to nothing for the whole match, just "Chuck taught him that pin" as he dumps his headset and ditches the announce desk, CHILLS, MAN. protective!Orange has gotta be in at least the top five Oranges, the way he GLARED at ringside as he collected his boys. Ugh, I want to rewatch it right now, but work.
Art! It was art!
Also it's Hangman's birthday today, happy birthday cowboy. :3
More tomorrow.
For now... is ice cream time.
