[0082] we must bleed, we must bleed, we must bleed, we must bleed

I spent like six hours last night playing Beatstar so I could get the last free song before the season expired, so that was... a bit of a wash. Hopefully today falls prey to fewer poor decisions! I started with yoga and Bagel Bites and last night's Dynamite, so it feels like a good start!

28. Are you more of a practical thinker or more of an imaginative thinker?

Y.... yes?

Wikipedia Sez: GI, stylized as (GI), is the only studio album by American punk rock band the Germs. Often considered the first full-length hardcore punk album, it was released in the United States in October 1979 on Slash Records with catalog number SR 103. The album was later released in Italy in 1982 by Expanded Music with the catalog EX 11. The album's title is an acronym for "Germs Incognito", an alternate name the band used to obtain bookings when their early reputation kept them out of Los Angeles-area clubs. After (GI)'s release, the band would only undertake one more recording session, for the soundtrack album to Al Pacino's 1980 film Cruising. On December 7, 1980, a year after the release of (GI), vocalist Darby Crash killed himself.

Prior Familiarity: None.

What I Did While Listening: Made myself Bagel Bites! It took the length of the entire album because our oven takes forever to preheat.

Verdict: The instant I hit play on the first track, I just sighed involuntarily with the immediate knowledge of 'oh, it's gonna be a whole album of this exact noise, huh'. And then it was.

Favourite Song: Shut Down (Annihilation Man) was ten times longer than any other track on the album, so mathematically, it was ten times worse, but also it at least TRIED to do something different, which was nice.

Also it was raining earlier! Actual liquid skywater, I could not be happier!
