No entry yesterday because I got real obsessed with just letting Idle Breakout run all day at work. Have finally broken free after getting all the achievements and will hopefully remain content to just let it melt waves of bricks and make billions whenever I'm not actually AT the computer. Still gotta beat all those bosses, after all, but there's no rush.
There IS a rush to replace our hot water heater, though, ugh. Realized ours was dead before work yesterday, UGH. Turns out it's probably actually just the pilot light not staying lit, but getting that fixed would be $700 and waiting god knows how long for parts to actually get here vs. $1000 to replace the whole thing today, and uh, I need to shower! So. That's some money I get to help come up with out of nowhere, yay. Thank god for the long-suffering Filipino maintenance guy my mom works with who refuses to take money for all the insane jobs he does for his friends. I shall call him... cool!Alvin (my brother's dad being annoying!Alvin (although he was also extremely helpful when we moved, to be fair)).
7. Are you good at being spontaneous?
...sometimes? I think it's circumstantial, if I'm in an unusual or unfamiliar situation, I'm much more able to just do whatever, while if I'm in my daily rut, it can take a lot of effort to climb out of it. It leads to regrets!
8. What kind of music do you dislike most?
According to my average ratings on the 1001 Albums Generator site (so a pretty small sample size, admittedly, but I don't fucking know the answer so I am outsourcing it), it's metal! Followed by shoegaze. That does not feel incorrect.
