[0036] married with a lack of vision
Christmas is over and everything is very cold and very still and I'm going to savour not having anywhere to go or anything to do tomorrow by staying up very late for no good reason.

Wikipedia Sez: Songs from the Big Chair is the second studio album by English pop rock band Tears for Fears, released on 25 February 1985 by Phonogram Records. The album peaked at number two in the UK and at number one in the US, becoming a multi-platinum seller. Songs from the Big Chair spawned the commercially successful singles "Mothers Talk", "Shout", "Everybody Wants to Rule the World", "Head over Heels", and "I Believe".
Prior Familiarity: Pretty high; a lot of these albums (particularly the pop ones) have seemingly been deeper cuts to me, but this one is much more of a 'all the songs you know' entry.
What I Did While Listening: Relaxed in the wee early hours of Boxing Day, taking an inventory in the post-Christmas shambles. Time to rebuild and start anew!
Verdict: Real good shit! All hits, no misses!
Favourite Song: Everybody Wants to Rule the World, although the flow from Broken to Head Over Heels (and then right back to Broken for a spell) is pretty impeccable.
