[0033] I've been for a walk on a winter's day
My mom has this exceedingly frustrating habit of making plans for the evening and not bothering to loop me in until it's almost five o'clock, so then I get to feel like the asshole for not wanting to go get Wendy's and drive around looking at Christmas lights because I've already eaten. Maybe if you bothered to tell me earlier! But you didn't! Sorry I'm not hungry all the goddamn time like my brother!
Whatever, the Always Sunny finale almost made me cry, clearly I'm going through some shit right now. Christmas tomorrow, dinner with Memere and scrambling to get everything ready, then going to see a Matrix on Saturday. If I could just get an extra week to squeeze in between now and the morning, that'd be swell.

Wikipedia Sez: If You Can Believe Your Eyes and Ears is the debut album by the Mamas and the Papas (written as The Mama's and the Papa's [sic]), released in 1966. The stereo mix of the album is included in its entirety on All the Leaves are Brown (2001), a two-CD retrospective compilation of the band's first four albums and various singles, as well as on The Mamas & the Papas Complete Anthology (2004), a four-CD box-set collection released in the UK. The mono mix of the album was remastered and reissued on vinyl by Sundazed Records in 2010, and on CD the following year. It is the band's only album to reach number one on the Billboard 200.
Prior Familiarity: Pretty good! I went through a solid Mama Cass-fuelled folk rock phase in high school.
What I Did While Listening: Just kinda lied around for a bit, got up and heated up some leftover pizza, ate it while flipping through the James Bond RPG sourcebook. It was a nice little afternoon.
Verdict: Love it; extremely my shit.
Favourite Song: Go Where You Wanna Go is one of those songs that I've loved so long and so deeply that it's practically written on my DNA.
I'mma go take a bath.
