[0032] bom bom, have a nice dream
I made it! Both to my week off, and to the solstice! It'll still be many weeks before I'm allowed to see sun on my work weeks again, but at least I can take solace in the knowledge that it's coming now.
Almost all presents squared away, just have my brother to deal with now. Maybe I'll ask Mom for ideas when we go to the movies tonight. Still gotta prep the actual things, but that'll be quick and I have an entire house to clean in the meantime since I really don't want to spend Christmas in the sort of sty that the rest of my family is just cool living in.
COVID capacity restrictions coming back down the pipe, I gotta buckle down and get my damn booster. The first two shots kicked my ass so hard that I'm really kinda dreading it, tbh!

Wikipedia Sez: Ready to Die is the debut studio album by American rapper The Notorious B.I.G., released on September 13, 1994, by Bad Boy Records and Arista Records. The album features productions by Bad Boy founder Sean "Puffy" Combs, Easy Mo Bee, Chucky Thompson, DJ Premier, and Lord Finesse, among others. It was recorded from 1993 to 1994 at The Hit Factory and D&D Studios in New York City. The partly autobiographical album tells the story of the rapper's experiences as a young criminal, and was the only studio album released during his lifetime, as he was murdered sixteen days before the release of his second album Life After Death in 1997.
Prior Familiarity: Middling? This is pretty perpetual '90s background noise stuff, really.
What I Did While Listening: General Christmas stuff, though not really, because these vibes were inescapable and I kept getting distracted.
Verdict: Mixed! What I liked, I really liked, and what I didn't, I fucking despised! One More Chance makes me want to gnaw my wrists open, it always has, and following it with that 'Fuck Me' interlude was sheer hell.
Favourite Song: Respect, but Gimme the Loot is a real earworm.
