Feeling pretty brain dead at the moment, mostly due to falling asleep at 8PM last night and sleeping straight through to morning. That is way too much sleep, y'all. I will definitely never be able to get proper full-time hours at this job, it's quickly becoming clear. Two days in a row fucking killed me, I just am not built to get up that early on a daily basis. Still, now that I'm mostly trained up, I'm tentatively at 32-36 hours a week, and I don't work until 5PM most days, which... I think I can probably handle, yes.
And now I have 10 hours to kill before work. Huh.
The door opens to reveal a small room with a stone floor and dirty walls. There is a stale smell in the air. In the centre of the room is a makeshift wooden table on which is standing a lit candle. Under the table is a small box. In the far corner of the room is a straw mattress.
