[322] [248] Moment of truth
Took a rather dumb nap last night, so my sleepins is all mixed up, but this is my last day of work before I get a couple of 'em off, so I'm sure I'll survive. Getting blood drawn in a few hours, really not looking forward to that. Also: hungry. Mostly I just want this day to be over before it's even begun.
You can pull something from your backpack, but the Ganjees are only interested in one of three specific items. They are a Spider in a Jar (???), a Charmed Amulet, and a Jar of Ointment. As you don't have any of those, it's on to Plan B.
You will have to draw your sword and face them.
A silence spreads over the room. Suddenly, a blood-curdling scream comes from one corner and a hideous face appears in the air, shooting towards you, screaming as it comes. Your hair stands on end and your legs turn to jelly. Somehow, you manage to reach the door, fling it open and race through. However, you have forgotten that you are high in a tower and the balcony has no railing... You tumble over the ledge and fall straight down. You land in a crumpled heap at the base of the tower and your broken body breathes its last breath...
