Quick update as I run off to work. A minor battle to not spend craploads of money before vacation time was won last night, but I fear the tide of the war is slowly shifting against me. Have neglected to find someone to take care of my cat while I'm gone, so I'll need to look into that. Back to the salt mines, now.
And seriously, you guys, a four-way tie? SERIOUSLY? Coin flip tournament was required to break it, and it looks like we're gonna check out the paintings.
The paintings are portraits of various Lord and Earls prominent in the Kingdom of Craggen Rock. Behind a chair at the head of the table is a portrait of Balthus Dire himself. He does indeed look a powerful adversary. Add 1 LUCK point for the warning of his appearance, but lose 1 STAMINA point for the feeling of fear he instils.
