[484] and that's what I call chooglin'
The cold is continuing, and morale is not improving! I guess that beats being on fire like the rest of the world MUST be to keep blowing all of this smoke on us, but nevertheless, I bleh. Hopefully bailing on work early to go to the movies tonight will help. Save me, mystery movie! And buy my bullshit, coworkers!

Wikipedia Sez: Bayou Country is the second studio album by the American rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR), released by Fantasy Records on January 15, 1969, and was the first of three albums CCR released in that year. Bayou Country reached No. 7 on the Billboard 200 chart and produced the band's first No. 2 hit single, "Proud Mary".
Genre: Pop/Rock
Styles: Rock & Roll, Contemporary Pop/Rock, Country-Rock
Release Date: January 15th, 1969
Prior Familiarity: Yeah!
What I Did While Listening: Skipped over my actual next album because it's well over two hours long and I don't have that kind of time on a work night (and a song from it just came over the radio as I typed that, oh no Andre 3000 is haunting me for clowning on his bad piano album) to relax and do some journaling before bed.
Verdict: Looked up my review for Green River, in which I said "I feel like all three of the '69 albums should be on here, since they really are kinda the quintessential CCR experience" and now here we are, over two years later, fulfilling half of this request that I forgot I ever made! Will they ever complete the prophecy????
Favourite Song: Proud Mary
Leshia's Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
June Movie Count: 1 (Tetsuo: The Iron Man)
