[475] an ending fitting for the start
Made it to the weekend! AND I slept so good last night?? I didn't crash, but was actually super duper tired by the time bedtime rolled around for a change and managed to get nearly six whole hours in! Which is fortunate, since it'll be an Until Dawn/Thunderbolts* double feature tonight, and popcorn can only do so much to keep me sharp. Like how a plant needs both water and sunlight.
It's so hard avoiding Bluesky in case of Marvel spoilers in the middle of a WWE release bloodbath; I've just been periodically peeking at the Fightful feed and that's IT. Sorry Eddy Thorpe, but I am very much looking forward to seeing Karl Fredericks again!
Have finally put my winter jacket away because in spite of the snow on Wednesday, it was 26 degrees on my way home last night, and I'm going full cozy to make up for it with a big soft knit cardigan over a pink wrestling t-shirt covered in flowers. It's called FASHION.
I have somehow been here for an hour already? Maybe this day won't be so bad.

Wikipedia Sez: The Libertines is the second studio album by the English indie rock band The Libertines. Released on 30 August 2004, it is particularly biographical of the relationship between frontmen Carl Barât and Pete Doherty. The album debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart, selling 72,189 copies in its first week of release.
Genre: Pop/Rock
Styles: Alternative/Indie Rock, Indie Rock, Punk Revival, Britpop, Garage Rock Revival
Release Date: August 30th, 2004
Prior Familiarity: Low!
What I Did While Listening: Made perogies very late in the night, desperately trying to ignore the start of the work week looming with the morning.
Verdict: Banger! It carries a lot of classic punk sensibilities without that particular musical style, instead nicely scratching the same itch that the Arctic Monkeys do for me while not being nearly as good as them? Still satisfying, though.
Favourite Song: Music When the Lights Go Out
Leshia's Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
May Movie Count: 2 (What Have They Done to Your Daughters?, The Fog)
