[462] well, they blew up the chicken man in Philly last night
Went to the movies on two separate occasions today??? I have dietary regrets, but that is it. I got about four hours of sleep total in order to leave bright and early to catch a morning showing of The Day the Earth Blew Up before visiting my grandmother, and then went to see A Working Man with my brother in the evening. My body is approximately 60% Diet Coke at this point, it was a great day. My stomach is... mad at me, though.
Two more days to my own devices. Probably no more movies outside of my own bedroom, though. New Japan Cupdate: gonna finish Round 2 tonight and am very much looking forward to Zack vs. Taichi in the quarterfinals; I've been deep in my Tekkers feelings of late.

Wikipedia Sez: Nebraska is the sixth studio album by the American singer-songwriter Bruce Springsteen, released on September 30, 1982, by Columbia Records. Springsteen recorded the songs as solo demos using a four-track recorder in the bedroom of his home in Colts Neck, New Jersey, intending to rerecord them with the E Street Band, but decided to release them as they were after full-band renditions were deemed unsatisfactory. Seventeen songs appeared on the tape, ten of which appeared on Nebraska, while others appeared in full-band renditions on the follow-up album Born in the U.S.A. (1984) and as B-sides.
Genre: Pop/Rock
Styles: Album Rock, Contemporary Pop/Rock, Heartland Rock, Alternative Folk
Release Date: September 30th, 1982
Prior Familiarity: Very low, but more than zero.
What I Did While Listening: Stayed up way too late, considering I needed to be up super early to go see a Looney Tune (YES, NEEDED TO).
Verdict: Really really good. Personal. Deserves to be as well-known as his stadium rock stuff, but also I get why it isn't.
Favourite Song: Atlantic City, though the title track really made me want to go watch Badlands. I also haven't seen The Indian Runner in aaaaaaages.
