[451] I am friend to the undertow, I take you in, I don't let go

Long day. Good, though. Warm outside, and I've got cinema running through my veins. Spicy ramen and lucha libre around two a.m., I'm thinking. Regroup in the morning.

Genre: Pop/Rock, Folk

Styles: Adult Alternative Pop/Rock, Alternative Folk, Alternative/Indie Rock, College Rock, Contemporary Folk

Release Date: May 1st, 1985

Prior Familiarity: Looooooow.

What I Did While Listening: Just kinda puttered around. Clipped my fingernails, because I'm in the middle of a vicious cycle where I don't paint them in a timely enough fashion every week so they start breaking and I can't grow them out properly through sheer lack of upkeep, ugh.

Verdict: It sounds like every single female singer/songwriter album from the '90s, so she was clearly extremely ahead of the curve with this shit. Chill and cool with some good character playlist potentials and only 35 minutes long, you love to see it!!! That's like a seventh of a Brutalist!
