re: Treasured Possessions

The mystery of how tired I was yesterday has been solved: I'm sick!! My brother definitely gave me whatever awful head cold he had when he picked me up from the bus stop on Thursday, ugh. The sore throat crept in slowly throughout the work day, until I fell apart in a pile of snuffles and sinus misery last night. Naturally, I'm still at work today, because I can't afford not to be, and Sunday is the one day I can get by while legitimately barely conscious for twelve straight hours. Can't waste that! I have ordered Tim Hortons every single day this work week just to pull me through. Was feeling a little 'is this really how I'm going to spend my one beautiful life?' this morning, just staring at my phone, but it's not even nine o'clock yet and yeah, I'm really not up to doing anything meaningful today regardless. At least I somehow slept a little better, even if I went to bed too late.

Saw Longlegs last night; between the illness and the fact that my birthday is January 13th, it was a very odd experience!

23. What Possessions Does Your Family Treasure?

Not many? Too many moves over the years, not a lot of value to begin with. We have the desk/pedal part of a hundred-year-old sewing machine and a rocking chair that belonged to my great-grandmother that have come along with us that my mom is very attached to.

Okay, back to staring at the black mirror for a while.
