[360] we're all normal and we want our freedom
My phone is almost out of space, but I am too unmotivated to do anything about it just yet. One more day of work, and then I'll be on the other side. Yesterday was hot and stormy, today is just... bright. There's always so much to do. I'm off to Calgary in exactly a week.

Wikipedia Sez: Forever Changes is the third studio album by the American rock band Love, released by Elektra Records in November 1967. The album saw the group embrace a subtler folk- and baroque pop-oriented sound based around acoustic guitars and orchestral arrangements, while primary songwriter Arthur Lee explored darker themes alluding to mortality and his growing disillusionment with the counterculture. It was the final album recorded by the original band lineup; after its completion, guitarist Bryan MacLean left the group acrimoniously, and Lee subsequently dismissed the other members.
Genre: Pop/Rock
Styles: Baroque Pop, Psychedelic/Garage, Folk-Rock
Release Date: November 1st, 1967
Prior Familiarity: Low. I was SUPER into the first Love album I pulled and then promptly kinda forgot about it.
What I Did While Listening: Lolled around post-bath, too weakened to otherwise function. And then I listened to the expanded edition today at work, that's how much I liked it!
Verdict: Yeah, I completely fell in lowercase love with this within about thirty seconds of the first track, and I can't remember the last time that happened. Are these guys just one of my favourite bands that I never knew about???
Favourite Song: Alone Again Or
Leshia's Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐, because my standards have gotten marginally tougher since I started this and it does at one point feature the repeated lyric "oh, the snot has caked upon my pants".
