Finally finished Legion last night after dragging my heels for half a decade to draw it out. Worth it. I kinda immediately wanted to rewatch the whole thing? Then I got a real nice bath in and now it's back into the shit show, as civilization continues to break down the longer the CDK outage continues. Plenty of hilarious CDK memes over at r/serviceadvisors right now.
At least I got my bus and accommodations booked for next month; Stampede means I'm staying stupid far away from downtown, but I'll worry about that when I get to Calgary. GONNA BE AT THE OWEN CUP FINALS FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW, YEE HAW~~~

Wikipedia Sez: Follow the Leader (stylized as FOLLOW the LEADEЯ) is the third studio album by American nu metal band Korn. It was released on August 18, 1998, through both Immortal and Epic Records. This was their first album not produced by Ross Robinson. Instead, it was produced by Steve Thompson and Toby Wright.
Genre: Pop/Rock
Styles: Alternative Metal, Heavy Metal, Nü Metal, Rap Metal
Release Date: August 18th, 1998
Prior Familiarity: Higher than I have ever wished it to be.
What I Did While Listening: Made perogies for the first half, and then I straight up forgot to get back to it for a full day, at which point I made more perogies. They were very, very good. I finally managed to source some more Extra Spicy Mrs. Dash, since it's been unavailable here for ages and I was having to carefully ration my last shaker in ways that really hurt.
Verdict: There's a lot I could say here, but to tie it slightly back to my comments about Grizzly Bear the other day, I will simply say that, even setting aside Davis' insane weirdo voice, there is no mainstream band that has ever sounded quite like Korn. They have very unique instrumentations that make for a very singular sound even amongst goofy metal bullshit; a Korn song is always immediately identifiable and you will never mistake it for anything but a Korn song, and I think that's really great. Cool album cover, too.
Favourite Song: When I say Freak on a Leash without any hesitation, we all understand it's mainly because of that genuinely iconic music video, right? Good. The one where Ice Cube showed up was fun, too, though. Such a nice man.
Leshia's Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ out of deference to their mystery-solving abilities
