re: School Commutes
Have I ever been this tired before? Surely, yes. But I don't want to think about that. Want to simply think about how I will be on my way to Edmonton in 24 hours for wrestling and goodtimes. We can check into our hotel at 3, and doors to the venue open at 4:30, so I figure as long as we leave by 10, we should have plenty of wiggle room. Road trip! Half of one for me, anyway.
It's finally raining today! We have had so little rain this year, everything is on fire and the grass is still fucking yellow straw, so this is a very nice development. Things were already starting to green up just on my sodden way to work!
Trying not to think about how much I need to get done when I get home tonight, since all I'll want to do is crash. Gotta do laundry, gotta pack, gotta do my nails. Other stuff would be nice, too, but those are the essentials.
Managed to get in some gentle morning yoga before work over the last couple of days, which was nice. I'm not going to trick myself into thinking it's a habit I'll ever be able to really reliably cultivate, but it's still a good way to start the day whenever I can manage it.
7. How Did You Get To School?
Sometimes I walked and sometimes I took the big yellow school bus, depending on how close I lived to the school at the time. We moved a lot! By the time high school rolled around, I consistently lived far enough away that it was strictly transit, though. Man, that shit sucked.
