re: Children's Photos

Uuuugh, today is going by so slowly, which should be a good thing because there's so much that I need to get done before the end of the work week, but also... I don't want to do any of it? I'm so very very tired and I just want to try that dodgy new K-Crunch burger from Mary Brown's and slip into a coma. A dilemma!

At least I got my plans for Edmonton and Vancouver squared away yesterday, last-minute that it was. Plane tickets were outrageously expensive, so I'll be skimping on accommodations to make up for it somewhat and staying at something billing itself as a 'party hostel' in Gastown. So that'll be an adventure!

I seem to like every new Luca Guadagnino movie more than I liked the last one. Queer might just have to be my favourite film of 2025 for the trend to continue.

5. Are Parents Violating Their Children’s Privacy When They Share Photos and Videos of Them Online?

Hmm. I'm going to say... broadly no? Unless a kid is old enough to have an opinion on the matter, in which case don't share stuff if they don't want you to. For as long as cameras have been a thing, people have shown other people pictures and home movies of their kids and I wouldn't call that a violation of privacy; if you're just plastering them all over the net without any sort of filter, though, that's a different sort of bad that definitely has privacy implications, though.
