[323] could we have everything louder than everything else?
Quickie update while I make my PPV plans for tonight; it's still quite cold out so I will probably hold off on my work scanning trip. It snowed a bit and everything is just very, very, uniformly white.
I'm thinking hot wings and hard seltzers for Revolution. No clue how quite a few of these title matches are gonna go.
2une good. What a weird couple of movies. Hope he gets to make one more!

Wikipedia Sez: Made in Japan is a double live album by English rock band Deep Purple, recorded during their first tour of Japan in August 1972. It was originally released in December 1972, with a US release in late March 1973, and became a commercial and critical success. The band were well known for their strong stage act, and had privately recorded several shows, or broadcast them on radio, but were unenthusiastic about recording a live album until their Japanese record company decided it would be good for publicity. They insisted on supervising the live production, including using Martin Birch, who had previously collaborated with the band, as engineer, and were not particularly interested in the album's release, even after recording. The tour was successful, with strong media interest and a positive response from fans.
Genre: Pop/Rock
Styles: British Metal, Hard Rock, Heavy Metal
Release Date: December 8th, 1972
Prior Familiarity: Middling? Not these specific versions, though.
What I Did While Listening: Honestly, this was SUCH an amazing running album that I kinda wasted it on some easy intervals after I got back from the movies and needed to settle my popcorn belly.
Verdict: Oh, this kicks ass; live albums don't always do it for me, especially when they veer off into jam band territory (Space Truckin' goes for almost twenty minutes!), but aside from a few annoying bits toward the end where the lead singer makes stupid guitar noises with his mouth, I really dug this. Also it was partially recorded at iconic wrestling venue the Nippon Budokan, gotta love it.
Favourite Song: BUTT BUTTHOLE, BUTT BUTT BUTTHOLE MY PROBLEM IS I'M STANDING HERE TALKING TO A COUPLE OF BUTTHOLES hey I'll roundhouse kick you right in your head, and if you think I won't, I'll come to the McDonald's where you work and I'll buy the whole damn place and then I'll fire you, I'll say "drop your mops you buttholes 'cause you're fired" and then I'll roundhouse kick you right in your stupid heads then I'll go John-Claude Van Damme on yousssssssssssss butthole
