[319] when I wrote about parties, someone always died

Oog. The Holdovers FINALLY hit streaming in Canada, so I put all my other plans on hold(over) for a rewatch; still love it a lot! But then I really needed to wash my hair, and if I'm gonna do that, I wanna get good and sweaty before hitting the shower, so I walked for over an hour even though it was WELL past my bedtime, and then afterwards when I DID go to bed, I fell down a rabbit hole of random old Chikara matches on YouTube, and now I'm in a pretty bad, sleepy way. Still, that's what Sundays are for, right? Right?

Besides, the temperature has finally plummeted back to normal winter levels (-20s, not so bad), so the walk to work was at least a bit bracing.

My brother is nineteen today, I gotta get him a card before I go home. Also it's around my 16-year TRniversary, which is wild.

Time to text my boss and tell him I'll need to leave work a couple of hours early tomorrow to do something that definitely isn't going to see Anatomy of a Fall.

Time to peruse breakfast menus until something moves my spirit enough to order it. It's Sunday, baby.

Genre: Rap

Styles: Gangsta Rap, Golden Age, Hardcore Rap, West Coast Rap

Release Date: May 14th, 1991

Prior Familiarity: Okayish?

What I Did While Listening: An episode of The Walk! I was really hoping that news article about the wolf repopulating would be foreshadowing for something further down the line, but then I found the shredded rabbit remains. Paul is totally gonna get eaten by wolves, isn't he?

Verdict: Damn, that went by really quickly! Which was nice, because it was midnight and I was on a treadmill.

Favourite Song: The Tower, because I am simply too much of a sucker for a Halloween theme sample.

Leshia's Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very excited for my next album, in the 'it's one I know very very well' vein.
