[303] I've been too long, I'm glad to be back
Woke up earlier than I would have otherwise preferred to visit my grandmother, had lunch with my mom while we caught shiny Rowlets for Community Day, picked up groceries, and went to see the movie about the pool that kills people. A lovely Saturday, and now I have the night to myself. Past the halfway mark of my week off, and for once, it doesn't feel like it snuck up on me? Must continue to pack the days.

Wikipedia Sez: Back in Black is the seventh studio album by Australian rock band AC/DC, released by Albert Productions and Atlantic Records on 25 July 1980. It was the band's first album to feature Brian Johnson as lead singer, following the death of Bon Scott, their previous vocalist. After the commercial breakthrough of their 1979 album Highway to Hell, AC/DC was planning to record a follow-up, but in February 1980, Scott died from alcohol poisoning after a drinking binge. Instead of disbanding, the remaining members of the group decided to continue on and recruited Johnson, who had previously been vocalist for Geordie. (WOOF)
Genre: Pop/Rock
Styles: Album Rock, Arena Rock, Aussie Rock, Hard Rock, Heavy Metal
Release Date: July 25th, 1980
Prior Familiarity: High.
What I Did While Listening: More season 6 radio mode while I ran some intervals last night. Couldn't quite hack it and had to bail with about ten minutes left to go. Will try again tomorrow!
Verdict: Getting this just three albums after Black Sabbath, leave me ALONE, Tony Stark. Anyway, much like Paranoid, this is just iconic banger after iconic banger, though unlike Paranoid, it never really came together as an album for me, as opposed to just a collection of cool singles. Also, Let Me Put My Love into You is... gross.
Favourite Song: You Shook Me All Night Long
