No new episode of Being the Elite? On Kenneth Jerome Omega's 40th birthday?? Brandon Cutler you will answer for your crimes against me.
Currently trying really hard not to flip into 'back to work panic' mode, but with just one more day of freedom left to me, it's sure looming! I'm decently on top of chores for a change, at least. I haven't watched enough movies, though, I think that might be the problem.

Wikipedia Sez: La Revancha del Tango is the debut album by French musical group Gotan Project. It was released on 22 October 2001 on XL Recordings and ¡Ya Basta! Records. The album contains a cover of the title track from Frank Zappa's 1970 album Chunga's Revenge and a cover of Gato Barbieri's theme for the 1972 film Last Tango in Paris.
Genre: Electronic
Styles: Electronica, House, Jazz-House, Club/Dance
Release Date: October 22nd, 2001
Prior Familiarity: Obviously none, come on now. Love these weird deep cuts you get out of this project sometimes.
What I Did While Listening: Started making perogies before swiftly realizing that I was too beat to shit (in a good way!) after my run for anything that labour-intensive, so I just boiled myself some habanero-lime-flavoured ramen instead. And then? You had best believe that I ate those noodles.
Verdict: I had absolutely no idea what to expect out of this, especially once I saw the genre, but I had a couple of guesses and this was nothing like any of them. It was better! Tango but with break beats? Accordion-based club bangers?? Oh my god, am I a jazz-house person??? That feels like a new layer to myself that I did not need to discover.
Favourite Song: Una Música Brutal
