[271] eat your words but don't go hungry, words have always nearly hung me
Home freeeeeeeee! Today was mostly just spent between watching wrestling and running and tidying up, but it's still early enough that I've got time left to fuck around, as long as I make sure to get a load of laundry started.
What's the weather even like? Beats me, I ain't going outside for nothing!!! Shida and Orange are champs again, nothing else matters!

Wikipedia Sez: Tom Tom Club is the debut studio album by Tom Tom Club, released in 1981, containing the UK hit singles "Wordy Rappinghood", which reached No. 7 in June 1981 and "Genius of Love", which reached No. 65 in October of the same year. It was re-released in the UK in 1982 to include "Under the Boardwalk", which reached No. 22 in August 1982. When released in the United States, "Genius of Love" peaked at No. 31 on the Billboard Hot 100. Both "Wordy Rappinghood" and "Genius of Love" topped the US dance chart.
Genre: Pop/Rock
Styles: Dance-Rock, New Wave, Post-Disco, College Rock
Release Date: June 23rd, 1981
Prior Familiarity: Low! I mostly just know Tom Tom Club from Stop Making Sense, so beyond Genius of Love, nada (and I don't think that was actually them proper in the movie anyway, so much as just all of Talking Heads using the name?).
What I Did While Listening: Finally met the infamous Brent Valmont after all this time, AKA I went back to season 6 of Zombies, Run! for a bit. There was a gang funeral!
Verdict: Hmm. Yes. Yes I love this.
Favourite Song: They included a seven-and-a-half minute version of Genius of Love at the end of the album to really just allow you to maximize your vibes, so I gotta say that.
