Got a really long, lovely, heartfelt comment on a WIP I haven't touched in years, so naturally I am desperately yearning to get back into a headspace to go back to it. I mean, "Even if u never come back to it, I'm glad I could read a story that came from you." COME ON, THAT'S SO NICE, WTF, writing shit on the internet and occasionally making fleeting connections with strangers because of it is just so cool! I really gotta keep this wagon train a-rolling now that I've started dipping my toe back into making words again. And stop mixing my metaphors so badly.
Last day of work. I have saved myself a few little treats to parcel out once I have earned them throughout the day, and then tomorrow I can be a person again! Exciting!

This is such a good question, and one that my brain is simply too broken by work to give the thought that it would need for a good answer, so all I have is 'these shoes I'm wearing are in pretty rough shape?'
