[261] there ain't no moonlight after midnight

I did stuff! Hooray! Most of it surrounded the treadmill that I bought because there was a coupon, but now I have a treadmill, so that's fun! I also have a giant mess in my bedroom that I still have to clean up, but I've also got a nice night nap under my belt now, so I shall power through, because tomorrow is garbage day.

I also secured nix and I tickets for both AEW shows in Montreal for a decent price; lower bowl right between the stage and ring, hardcam side, third/fourth row, PRETTY GOOD. GET HYPE.

To celebrate, I finally watched back the last of the shows I was at this summer and hoo boy, I was on TV FAR too much throughout ALL of those Saskatchewan shows, goddamn. The perils of really good seats.

I also barely slept? I am fueled by nothing but expired Red Bull and dreams at this point.

Let's see, what else did I do? Started The Walk to break in the new treadmill, since my ZR legacy subscription has given me access to all of that for years now. Pretty cool! I wish they'd just roll it in into the ZRX app, though, ditto the 5k training app (ESPECIALLY the 5k training app, actually, since I'm currently re-listening and there's currently no easy way to do that with those missions, and the Thor/Loki 5k stuff being available in both training mode and regular mission versions in ZRX is really driving home what I'm missing LET ME RELIVE SAM FREAKING OUT ABOUT HIS DEAD GIRLFRIEND WHENEVER I WANT, DAMN IT). Along a similar vein, since I am in FULL hyperfixation mode at the moment, I pulled the trigger on a free Audible trial JUST so I could get the ZR audiobook and install some third party app to rip the files for keepsies, so I will need to remember to cancel that shortly!

Wikipedia Sez: Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols is the only studio album by English punk rock band the Sex Pistols, released on 28 October 1977 through Virgin Records in the UK and on 11 November 1977 through Warner Bros. Records in the US. As a result of the Sex Pistols' volatile internal relationships, the band's lineup saw changes during the recording of the album. Original bass guitarist Glen Matlock left the band early in the recording process, and while he is credited as a co-writer on all but two of the tracks, he only performed bass and backing vocals on one track, "Anarchy in the U.K." Recording sessions continued with a new bass player, Sid Vicious, who is credited on two of the songs written by the band after he joined. While Vicious's bass playing appeared on two tracks, his lack of skill on the instrument meant that many of the tracks were recorded with guitarist Steve Jones playing bass instead. Drummer Paul Cook, Jones and singer Rotten appear on every track. The various recording sessions were led alternately by Chris Thomas or Bill Price, and sometimes both together, but as the songs on the final albums often combined mixes from different sessions, or were poorly documented who was present in the recording booth at the time, each song is jointly credited to both producers.

Genre: Pop/Rock

Styles: British Punk, Punk, Punk/New Wave

Release Date: October 28th, 1977

Prior Familiarity: I thought it was pretty good, but then I wound up loving it enough that I feel like I would have known I loved this album if it was as high as I thought it was? If that makes sense.

What I Did While Listening: Edited.

Verdict: Yeah, shit, I love this, fuck.

Favourite Song: Bodies, because if you can be a bad feminist and ignore what it's actually about (😬), it truly is such a vibe.
