[241] hope it don’t mean I’ll stop napping

So my period finally decided to show up, guns blazin', about ten days late yesterday, which probably helps explain things like the crappy night's sleep and the general crankitude I was feeling, which is something I guess.

Two more days! Just today and tomorrow! It's month end, so today is definitely going to be an absolute nightmare horror show, but the youngest, most anxious of the service advisors went on a stress baking spree last night so I am full of sugar that will hopefully get me through to August, when I will hopefully be largely left alone as everyone recovers! Let's go! I think my family might be home again tonight, too? I will miss not having every single light in the house on at all times, though.

Backed a few frivolous Kickstarters yesterday to celebrate finally finishing the first stage in my big inbox clearing operation. Now comes the cleanup.

Wikipedia Sez: Bug is the third studio album by American alternative rock band Dinosaur Jr., released in October 1988 through SST Records. Blast First and Au Go Go Records released the album in the United Kingdom and Australia, respectively. It was the last Dinosaur Jr. album with original bassist Lou Barlow until Beyond in 2007.

Genre: Pop/Rock

Styles: Alternative Pop/Rock, Alternative/Indie Rock, American Underground, Indie Rock

Release Date: October 31st, 1988

Prior Familiarity: None. Then and now (because it's wholly unmemorable).

What I Did While Listening: Made perogies and cleaned the kitchen with much vigour. I earned that episode of Yellowjackets, by god.

Verdict: After just getting a Dinosaur Jr. album five pulls ago, this is really one of those 'what even IS this list' moments that come along every now and then, jfc. THIS IS SO BORING, WHAT THE FUCK AM I MISSING WITH THESE GUYS??? IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE SOME FUCKING GRUNGE MASTERPIECE??? IT'S NOTHING. IT'S AIR. It's not BAD (except for one awful song, which was of course six minutes long), it's just... bleh.

Favourite Song: No Bones, because I at least kinda remember that one.
