[185] all the fridges really think it's cool

Sun going down on my last day of freedom (still a bit of light out and it's after five, though! we're getting there!). Feeling not great, but that's probably just my period about to start, it was a solid (and hopefully adequately relaxing this time around) week off.

Wikipedia Sez: Eternally Yours is the second album by Australian punk rock band The Saints, released in 1978. Produced by band members Chris Bailey and Ed Kuepper, the album saw the band pursue a bigger, more R&B-driven sound, augmented by a horn section. The album also saw the introduction of bass guitarist Algy Ward, who replaced the band's previous bass player, Kym Bradshaw in mid-1977.

Genre: Pop/Rock

Styles: Aussie Rock, Punk, Punk/New Wave, Hard Rock, Power Pop

Prior Familiarity: None.

What I Did While Listening: More Triple Triad, because I'm finally playing the remastered version of FF8 after buying it years ago, so what I gonna do, just NOT fuck around doing nothing for hours before advancing the plot at all? C'mon now.

Verdict: Fun! Most punk from this era tends to all blur into sameness to me, but the horn section on this, while jarring, really does a lot to set each song apart from the rest. Holds up well!

Favourite Song: A Minor Aversion

Okay that's it for today I gotta set up this new router asap bye!!
