[176] let the light be forever green
Hmm, days seem to be blurring together a bit. Feels way too soon to be halfway through my week off, you know? Gonna have to find a way to do a hard reset tonight, I think. Until then, gonna take it easy. Easy like Saturday morning.

Wikipedia Sez: Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space is the third studio album by English space rock band Spiritualized, released on 16 June 1997. The album features guest appearances from the Balanescu Quartet, The London Community Gospel Choir and Dr. John.
Genre: Pop/Rock
Styles: Alternative Pop/Rock, Alternative/Indie Rock, Ambient Pop, Dream Pop, Indie Rock, Neo-Psychedelia, Noise Pop, Post-Rock, Space Rock, Shoegaze
Prior Familiarity: Again I say: who??
What I Did While Listening: Laid in bed and coloured, and that was it. I dunno why, but amidst all the stuff I needed to get done yesterday, I really felt the need to just do nothing and let myself drift away for an hour.
Verdict: Every single track on this sounds like an extremely capable imitation of a different, better band. Which sounds harsh, but I really liked it??
Favourite Song: As I am on the record saying that Can't Help Falling in Love is my favourite song of all time, I kinda gotta go with the title track that pulls extensively from it, don't I? Lovely stuff.
