[170] little catholic girl is falling in love
Okay, NOW it's my week off. I may not have worked yesterday, but I did drive to Edmonton and back before staying up until six in the morning losing my fucking mind over Ospreay vs. Omega oh my god it's only January 4th and my match of the year may be sewn up for 2023??????? which was not particularly conducive to relaxing, but today I'm doing much better! Not really thinking about how mom's surgery is in just over a week. It should be fine! Just taking out a giant lump and like twenty lymph nodes! But I still worry.
Today was mostly for little things that make me feel a lot more put together and caught up on stuff, even if I'm super duper not. Doing my nails over Dynamite will be next! Can't wait to see the new set!
The weather is lovely, and the days are slowly getting longer again. Not so bad, all told.

Wikipedia Sez: Architecture & Morality is the third studio album by English electronic band Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD), released on 6 November 1981 by Dindisc. Inspired by religious music, the group sought to broaden their musical palette by utilising elaborate choral samples, the Mellotron, and other new instruments to create a more naturalistic, emotive sound. The artwork was designed by longtime OMD collaborator Peter Saville, along with Brett Wickens, while its title was derived from the book Morality and Architecture by David Watkin.
Genre: Pop/Rock
Styles: New Romantic, New Wave, Synth Pop
Prior Familiarity: Absolutely zero, I've never even heard of these guys.
What I Did While Listening: This latest time around, I was just cleaning out some 2022 digital clutter as I continue to try clearing my decks. Why are there so many decks! But this was not the first time I listened to it, and it's not gonna be the last, even if it's not readily streaming for some dumb reason!
Verdict: Oh fuck I love this. I absolutely adore it, it's so extremely my shit, just beautiful dreamy synth pop that's never ever boring.
Favourite Song: Joan of Arc and Joan of Arc (Maid of Orleans), you obviously can't split them up!!
