[0063] (jazz music stops)

My week is almost over, and I really don't know where it all went, but also there were some pretty good times scattered in amongst the haze, so I suppose I can't complain too much. I may still have some post-PPV afterglow going on, I don't know.

Need to pick out dates to book off of work for my vacation ASAP, since I imagine there are gonna be a lot of people taking off this summer.

6. What is something you are behind on?

God, everything. Everything, all of the time. Housecleaning is probably the biggest one at the moment. If only anyone else living here helped out!

Wikipedia Sez: Brilliant Corners is a studio album by American jazz musician Thelonious Monk. It was his third album for Riverside Records, and the first, for this label, to include his own compositions. The complex title track required over a dozen takes in the studio.

Prior Familiarity: Eh? I'm broadly familiar with Monk and his work, but not enough to recognize more than a song or two.

What I Did While Listening: Relaxed and made myself some Cheetos brand macaroni (bold 'n' cheesy), because I am a LADY.

Verdict: S'good. S'jazz. When an album only has five songs on it, you kinda have to know what you're signing up for.

Favourite Song: I Surrender, Dear
