[0053] my get up and go must've got up and went

TGIF! I don't know why, but you know, it's a thing people say! The current cold snap is thankfully ending and it should pop back above -30 by the time I go get the mail tonight, so that's nice! And the sun is setting a little bit later every day, we're up to five o'clock twilight and it's pretty darn nice. Little things!

4. How do you take your tea or coffee?

I don't! I have no taste for either leaf or bean water. If somebody at work is handing out Timmies, I will sip on something warm without any qualms, and every once in a blue moon I'll pop a K-cup in mom's Keurig, but that's really for the novelty more than anything, I can very much take it or leave it.

Wikipedia Sez: Toys in the Attic is the third studio album by American rock band Aerosmith, released in April 1975 by Columbia Records. Its first single, "Sweet Emotion", was released on May 19 and the original version of "Walk This Way" followed on August 28 in the same year. The album is the band's most commercially successful studio LP in the United States, with nine million copies sold, according to the RIAA.

Prior Familiarity: Fair. It's Aerosmith.

What I Did While Listening: Just kinda puttered around and thought about what I'm gonna do for supper (think I'll hold off a little longer and order pizza in time for Rampage).

Verdict: It's pretty good, at least when it's not off-the-rails stupid! It's Aerosmith, so the degree to which a lot of it was kinda general background music for much of my life makes it tough to evaluate on its own merits.

Favourite Song: I think No More No More is the platonic ideal of an Aerosmith song and annoys me less than the (objectively much better) two big singles from this album. You See Me Crying is also a real nice note to end on.
